Lamb Rendang

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms Lamb Leg, Sliced in Cubes
  • 10 pcs Shallots, Peeled
  • 5 pcs Garlic, Peeled
  • 80 gms Red Chilli
  • 30 gms Ginger Root
  • 5 pcs Clove Leaves
  • 30 gms Kunyit
  • 300 gms Candle Nut
  • 2 pcs Helai Salam
  • 1 ltr Thick Coconut Milk
  • 1 ltr Thin Coconut Milk

Preparation :

Grind garlic, shallots, chilli, ginger, clove leaves, kunyit, nuts and helai salam. Saute lamb with some oil, add spice mix and continue roasting. Add thin coconut milk and simmer while reducing the liquid. Finally add the thick coconut milk and reduce while constantly stirring.

Thai Tom Yum Soup

This typically Thai soup is a blend of lemon grass, lime and fish sauce. It may contain pieces of shellfish, pork, beef or chicken. Oriental fish sauce - or nam pla - imparts a characteristic flavour. It is made by layering fresh anchovies and salt in wooden barrels and leaving them to ferment. Fish sauce and lime leaves are obtainable from oriental stores.

Bahan: Wortel 1 bh, potong serong. Kol, 2 lbr potong kotak besar. Kapri 10 lbr Jagung muda(baby corn) 5 bh dipotong serong. Daun bawang 2 btg potong serong. Bakso ikan 5bh belah 2. Udang 6 bh belah punggung Cumi 1 bh dipotong kotak dan buat gurat-gurat.
